When To Book A Moving Company

A question that we get asked a lot is “how far in advance do I need to book by”

Of course, our usual advice is always to book as early in advance as you can! Our booking process is simple, our deposits are refundable and it always feels good to get an item on your to-do list crossed off of your list; especially when you consider how many other variables factor into moving.

The general rule of thumb is that you should look into finalizing your move date at least 2-3 weeks before the day that you have in mind. During the summer months, which are the busiest time of year in the moving industry, we would recommend that you schedule your move date at least one month in advance.

The truth of the matter is that life is unpredictable. You can make a plan one day and have those plans immediately dashed the very next. The good news is that Star is extremely flexible when it comes to providing our customers the services that they need on the day that they need them. Once you finalize a booking with Star Moving Solutions, there is no fee or penalty involved with rescheduling your move! All that we ask is that you give us at least a 7 days notice prior to your original move date. You let us know when you need us and we’ll be there!
