Step 1: In-Home Survey
Before we can send an estimate, we need to see what items you need relocated. To set up an in-home survey, just call us or fill out an online estimate request form.

Step 2: Estimate
STAR will provide you with an estimate for the services you require. STAR can provide you with an estimate to relocate your household goods and personal effects, autos, motorcycles, boats, commodities and consumables. Our staff will fully explain to you what the estimate includes and what it does not include. If you require an estimate to be “all-inclusive”, such as making sure difficult access, crating of delicate items, full replacement valued insurance is fully outlined and included in the estimate; Star Moving Solutions can meet those needs for you! If there are any additional charges, Star Moving Solutions will not automatically include them on the invoice, but make sure they are authorized prior to sending it to the company or individual paying for the move.

Step 3: Welcome Letter
Our Welcome Letters will include confirmation of pack out dates and will also request clear copies of the picture page on your passport and visa. US Customs requires a full home address and passport number for anyone exporting their goods out of the United States. Other international documentation needed will be included as well.

Step 4: Paperwork & Document Approval
Depending on what items we are exporting to a new country, there are different types of documentation and paperwork required: Import and Export of Household Goods, Import and Export of Vehicles, Export of Consumables, and Export of Commodities.
